Astar Network: Shiden to End Parachain Lease and Migrate to Agile Coretime on November 6
Astar Network has purchased Agile Coretime for Shiden. The auction model for parachains has been replaced with Agile Coretime. On November 6, Shiden’s parachain lease will end, and the network will migrate from a legacy slot to the bulk coretime model.
Last week, coretime for the next period was secured at 0.0702 KSM (approximately $1.22), ensuring Shiden remains secured by the Kusama Relay Chain at minimal cost. Astar’s parachain lease will end in September 2025, and coretime will be purchased to extend the benefits of Polkadot’s Agile Coretime.
