BitMEX announced that it will update its index weights for Q2 2026 on March 27 at 12:00 UTC. The exchange also said hypothetical values using the new weights are already being published under the “NEXT” index family. The update will apply subject to the BitMEX Index Protection Rules, assuming no constituent exchanges are excluded.
