Fractal Bitcoin to Start Public Testing Stage 2 on June 11
Fractal Bitcoin announced that Public Testing Stage 2 will begin on June 11 at block 1,844,640. According to the post, operators will be able to set up indexers and join the Index Mining network, while users will be able to stake toward any indexer. The project also noted that staking participants can use a community-built reward calculator from the staking page to estimate potential rewards.

FIP-101 Update: Latest Optimizations Activated
The latest Index Mining & Staking improvements have now been activated at block height 1824480. We ask all stake indexer operators to please update to the latest version v0.2.0, links in comments.
This round of optimizations include:
🔹 Better Visibility of Estimated Rewards:
Allocated rewards now become visible after approximately 1,000 blocks (~3 hours). Participants can see their pending rewards much earlier, while the claim period remains 20,160 blocks.
🔹 Updated Indexer Proof Submission & Commission Rules:
• Indexers must submit valid proof within 100 blocks. Delayed submission will reduce the indexer’s effective stake share by 10% per additional 100 blocks.
• Indexers can set their commission rate between 0% and 15% - Commission changes take effect after 7 days.
For staking users, this does not affect reward allocations for you and there's no action required.
